A look at the season

Routes shaped by the people who walk them

Each route on our schedule is suggested, scouted and refined by our hosts and walkers. New routes are added through the year as the seasons reveal new corners of the city.

Below is a small selection of the loops we walk most often.

How we plan a route

What goes into every weekly schedule

Scout

A host walks the route within seven days of the planned outing to check the surface and signage.

Time

We measure the route at a comfortable pace and add stops for water, photos and short rests.

Confirm

We email you the meeting point, weather notes and the host's first name the evening before.

Host

Your host carries a charged phone, a small first-aid pouch and the printed route card, just in case.

FAQ

Quick answers about our routes

Do I need to be fit to join?

Our routes are graded gentle, easy or moderate. The gentle routes suit most adults who can walk for an hour without strain.

What if the weather changes?

We email a short update by 7 pm the evening before. Light rain rarely cancels a walk; storms or ice always do.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes — please mention them when you reserve so the host knows the final group size.

Are children welcome?

Children aged ten and over can join with a parent. We share family-friendly routes on request.
